Confidentiality

This survey is confidential. Answers and partial or full quotes may be used in reporting materials, but all identifying information will be removed from the transcription or quote. Any identifying information you choose to provide us will be collected separately from the survey, and kept confidentially. It will not be connected to your answers, and will not be divulged to anyone other than the research study team, except as required by law.

Feedback will be provided through the media, through public meetings and seminars (advertised in the gay and other press), and through reports and publications prepared by the study team. Copies of reports and articles that involve data from this study will be available in a Publications and Reports Section on this website in the near future and on the publications page at NCHECR (the National Centre in HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research).

Your consent

Your decision whether or not to participate will not prejudice your future relations with The University of New South Wales, The University of Western Sydney or any state-based AIDS service organisations. If you decide to participate, you are free to withdraw your consent and to discontinue participation at any time without prejudice.
